  2. Community Band Concert on Chelmsford Common

    July 17, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Chelmsford Town Common

    The Chelmsford Community Band continues its rich tradition of providing free summer performances on Chelmsford Common with performances of jazz and concert band standards performed by the Jazz Ensemble (July 10, 24, and 31) and the Concert Band (July 17, August 7, and 14). Spread your blanket on the grass or bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the music with the whole family; the program will start at 7pm. If it rains, follow the music indoors to the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. Founded in 1972, the Chelmsford Community Band is proud of its history of bringing live performances to the area.   4. MacKay Summer Concert Series: Night Rhythm Jazz Trio

    July 18, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Chelmsford Public Library, MacKay Branch

    Join us this summer for music, laughs, and stories on the lawn at the MacKay Branch of the Chelmsford Public Library. Bring your chairs or a blanket! Drop in for ages 8 to 108; concerts for families with young children begin August 1. Rain location: Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Rd., N. Chelmsford. The Night Rhythm Jazz Trio presents jazz and swing from the 1940s to today with inspiration from Louis Armstrong to Harry Connick Jr. and everything in between.

  9. Wild Hawk Field Hockey Academy

    July 30, 9:00 AM - August 2, 3:00 PM @ McCarthy Middle School

    This field hockey camp in Massachusetts is led by UMass Lowell head field hockey coach Shannon Hlebichuk. Jump start your preseason, elevate your technique, and have fun this summer! Players gain valuable training in all aspects of field hockey. Sessions focus on the fundamental techniques, game strategy, and position specific drills.
