What's Old Is New Again Knitting Workshop

Saturday, February 24

Inspired by the activities described in the Nightingale, Kathy Fitzpatrick will show attendees of this program simple projects that they can make using old or discarded yarn or half-finished projects, including a simple patchwork blanket. Attendees should have at least a beginner's knowledge of knitting and should bring needles and either yarn, a half finished project, or an old hand knit sweater that can be taken apart for materials. Limited materials will be available at the program. The presenter recommends the following needles for yarn weight: Fingering/sock. US 3-5 Worsted. US 7-8 Chunky/Bulky. US 9-10 Attendees are also invited to bring their own projects to share or receive advice.
